Yoga Text of Vedic tradition is very rare. Vasistha Samhita (Yoga Kanda) is one of such texts. The text is unque in Establishing a balance between Hathayoga and and Patanjala yoga. We find it propagating eight fold path of Patanjali but unlike Patanjali, enumerates10 Yamas and Niyamas in place of five. It also describes 10 asanas as well as various Dharana and Dhyana.
