Description

The scientific reason behind this is that there is a powder of Kumkum turmeric. The juice of lemon juice becomes reddish. According to Ayurveda, Kumkum is the best medicine to purify the skin. Applying it to Tilak does not impair the brain fibers. Therefore, Kumkum Tilak is applied in the worship.

इसके पीछे वैज्ञानिक कारण यह है कि कुमकुम हल्दी का चूर्ण होता है। जिसमें नींबू का रस मिलाने से लाल रंग का हो जाता है। आयुर्वेद के अनुसार कुमकुम त्वचा के शोधन के लिए सबसे बढ़़िया औषधी है। इसका तिलक लगाने से मस्तिष्क तंतुओं में क्षीणता नहीं आती है। इसलिए पूजा में कुमकुम का तिलक लगाया जाता है।
